# Create Your Character

**Define your player identity and enter your first farm.** After successfully signing in with a wallet on Robinhood Chain Mainnet, first-time players complete a registration form to establish their persistent Harvest Vale profile.

**CHARACTER OPTIONS:** Choose a **Male** or **Female** avatar. Both are supported by the game's character artwork and combat animations. This is a character appearance selection, not a separate class or an advertised stat advantage.

## 1. Choose Your Character Appearance

These are the playable character appearances in Harvest Vale. Both characters have access to the same farming, exploration, inventory and adventure features.

During registration, choose **Male** or **Female**. This choice does not affect your character's gameplay stats.

## 2. Character Registration Fields

The game validates the following information during your **first character registration**.

## 3. First-Time Registration Walkthrough

### Connect Your Wallet

Follow [Connect Your Wallet](https://harvest-vale.gitbook.io/harvest-vale-docs/getting-started/connect-your-wallet); select Robinhood Chain Mainnet and complete the message-signature challenge.

### Enter Your Identity

Choose a character name, an available **username**, and a **farm name**. If a username is already taken or blocked, select another one.

### Choose Male or Female

Select the character gender appearance you want to play. Your in-world avatar and the relevant character sprite assets follow that selection.

### Finish Registration

Provide the remaining required profile details, set a **6-digit PIN**, and accept the Terms of Service. The game validates the fields and completes onboarding for that wallet account.

## 4. What Your Character Starts With

| **Lure**              | 50 Free Lure                                                      |
| **Consumables**       | One Energy Pack +10                                               |
| **Livestock**         | Baby Chicken, Baby Goat, Baby Calf                                |
| **Starting Levels**   | Player Level 1 and Farm Level 1                                   |
| **Initial Farm Area** | 6 × 6 unlocked tiles                                              |

Starter inventory initialization is designed to be **one-time and non-destructive** for existing beta accounts; amounts on returning accounts may differ.

## 5. Profile, Appearance, and Player Progression

The **character's gender appearance** is separate from your **RPG primary stats** and equipment. Your Player EXP determines your Player Level and available stat points, and your Farm EXP determines land expansion. Choosing an avatar does not fix you into a melee, ranged, or magic class.

The first-time registration flow prevents repeating onboarding on an account with an existing completed character profile. Do not assume a single wallet can create unlimited parallel characters.
