# Getting Started

**Your first steps into Harvest Vale.** Set up your account securely, create a character and learn how to move, interact and build your first farm. These guides are organized in the order a new player needs them.

## What to Expect on Your First Visit

### Authenticate Safely

Connect your wallet and follow the game's sign-in process. A wallet **message signature** authenticates your session; it is not the same as approving a token transfer or buying an item.
